Wally Shira Jr. describes some of those little white objects that tend to come off the capsule itself and drift off, later also claimed as particles and lathe shavings. Also describes seeing a burst of light in the window whose source key cannot identify, speculates this observation corresponds with the moment the sun passes below the horizon during sunset why are they putting this stuff in here all right let me fix it oops All right, let's go again.

I have some pretty stars in sight. And also I have the little white objects that seem to come from the capsule itself and drift off. And if they are a yaw check, it's fantastic. I suspect that the star I see is... Arcturus, would be very interesting. It is neither, it is one of the white objects. So I have two stars that are standing quite still. The white object actually looked like it came toward me. it wasn't next we see the particle there going on John described it as a lathe shaving it's very good description of it my rates are now just about zero and all three axes I still have light in the periscope of course I'm looking straight up and yet at this point my attitude is I get the couch I really can't pick it too well young just about inverted at this point and that my nose is above the horizon as a result I notice that these particles keep tending after me relative to me at any time Periscope is blocking out rather rapidly at sunset it's almost blocked out completely at this point and it's really not usually

So fireflies. Now that's kind of interesting. All right. So this is an eight minute and 15 second audio clip. So buckle up and let's hear what he has to say.

and now at one hour at this time i now have one hour and 21 minutes and i am observing john's fireflies drifting away from me I can observe them sort of be departing from the spacecraft and drifting out to the rear. I'm pretty sure we saw this before, but let's just, yeah, this is just, these are all these cases that they saw and this and that. oh this is interesting so this is from brigadier general joseph f carroll director of special investigations headquarters u.s air force washington okay all right so they had a liaison meeting with other military and government intelligence and investigative agencies in december 1948 it was determined that the frequency of unexplained area phenomena interesting they coined this word in 1940 fucking eight uap in the New Mexico area was such that an organized plan of reporting these observations should be undertaken. The organization and physical location of units of this district were most suitable for collecting these data. Therefore, since December 1948, the district has assumed the responsibility for collecting and reporting basic information with respect to aerial phenomena occurring in this general area. These reports have been distributed to the Air Material Command, USAF, in accordance with air intelligence requirements number four and to other interested. So they just told us where the repository of all this data is. It's the Air Material Command. Okay. That's kind of interesting. There is attached as part of this summary, a compilation of aerial phenomena sightings that have occurred mostly in the New Mexico area and have been reported by this district office subsequent to December 1948. This compilation of sightings is not a complete record of all reported observations, but includes only those in which sufficient information was available to justify their inclusion. The observer of these phenomena include scientists, special agents of the office of special investigations. So that's the, the OSI basically. So USAF, airline pilots, military pilots, Los Alamos security inspectors, military personnel, and many other persons of various occupations who have liabilities not questioned.

This compilation sets forward the most important characteristics with respect to each observation and evaluates each sighting into one of three classifications, green fireball phenomena, disk or variation, and probably meteoric, okay? All right, so we did, this is the Lincoln La Paz, analysis and all that stuff. We definitely looked at this part last week. So what that tells, and this is just an exhaustive report of where all these sightings were. What's this?
